The deck on your home provides many opportunities for outdoor enjoyment. Barbecues, family meals, entertaining, or simply relaxing with a good book—all these activities and more can occur on that deck. So, it’s important to make sure it is regularly maintained to ensure its structure and appearance are optimal.
Why Hire Us to Stain Your Deck?
Yes, it’s possible to stain your deck as a do-it-yourself project. But hiring HBP Painting Contractors can be a better decision in many ways.
- We already have all the tools. Do you have a power washer, sanders, brushes, rollers, and all the other tools you’ll need to do the job? If not, it will cost you to buy or even rent these tools.
- We have the experience. Staining a deck may not look difficult, but if you don’t do it right, it will result in problems. Using the wrong products or skipping a step or two can make a huge difference in the quality of the finish. The professionals at HBP are knowledgeable in the proper techniques to get the best outcome.
- We are licensed and insured. What happens if you get injured or cause damage to the deck or other structures while doing the work yourself? Don’t take the chance! HBP is licensed, bonded and insured. That means that any damage or injury will be covered by us, not you.
- You have better things to do. Why not reserve your leisure time for things you enjoy? Spend more time with your family or friends. Go play golf or take a hike. Then come back home to a beautifully finished deck that is ready to use!
Our Deck Staining Process
HBP Painting Contractors follows a step-by-step process to ensure your deck will look great and be durable enough to withstand all the memories being made long after it has been completed.
Step 1: Power washing. We use a high-pressure power washer to get rid of all dirt, grime and debris.
Step 2: Repairs. If there are any areas where the wood has rotted or cracked, we can repair or replace them.
Step 3: Sanding. We use an industrial sander to make sure the finish is smooth.
Step 4: Stain. We can recommend the type of stain that is best for your situation. It will depend on the condition of the deck and what was applied before (if anything). We’ll use rollers and brushes, as appropriate, to apply the stain. We also offer Cool Feel Paint that makes the deck cooler to walk on.
Step 5: Satisfaction call. After completing the project, we follow up with a phone call to make sure you are 100% satisfied. If not, we will return to make it right.
HBP Painting Contractors Offers All the Extras
When we say we stain decks, we don’t just mean the floor. We can include everything, like the stairs, handrails, spindles, ceilings, and underneath if desired. We also stain or paint pool decks, fences, and porches, as well. And we can do it all with no contact required.
