Exterior House Limewash Painting in O'Fallon

For the Murphy family’s project, we focused on transforming the front of their home using a specialized limewash-style finish designed for brick. Our proposal included a complete preparation and coating process to ensure strong adhesion, a clean finish, and long-lasting results.

We began by power-washing the entire brick surface to remove dirt, mildew, and buildup, ensuring optimal coating performance. All surrounding areas—including landscaping, windows, trim, and entry details—were carefully protected with drop cloths, plastic, paper, and tape. The shutters were removed before painting and later reinstalled for a clean, seamless finish.

With the home fully prepped, we used a specialty Hudson sprayer to apply a custom-mixed coat of ROMABIO Masonry Flat in Avorio White, achieving a soft, rich matte finish characteristic of a true limewash. We used two coats across the entire front elevation to ensure complete coverage and proper durability on the brick surface.

To give the Murphys added peace of mind, the project included a one-year touch-up card, ensuring their home will continue looking fresh long after completion. The final result delivered the exact limewash-style transformation they were hoping for.
