Our Cabinet Painting Process

To begin, we’ll remove all cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware. We’ll then clean all surfaces with TSP/Paseo to reduce the sheen and eliminate any grease, food, and oil residue using steel wool to help maximize the results.

Keeping your home clean from accidental spills will be a priority. We’ll protect all the areas we’re not painting by covering and securing ceilings, walls, floors, countertops, and all furnishings with drop cloths, plastic, paper, and tape.

Depending on the condition of your cabinets, we use Lacquer paint which is the hardest drying paint on the market, or Urethane, another tremendous and durable paint, to bring your cabinets to life, making them beautiful.

Upon project completion, we’ll re-install all the original hardware, handles, pulls, doors, and drawers. We’ll also provide and apply all-new clear rubber bumpers on the inside doors/drawers before we walk through the completed project for your approval.

Cabinet painting can be a very cost-effective solution to revamping your kitchen or baths! However, with every kitchen varying in size and layout, the price to paint them will be unique to you.

We use and trust Sherwin Williams for our paint. Depending on the condition of your cabinets, we use Lacquer paint which is the hardest drying paint on the market, or Urethane, another great and durable paint.

Painting cabinets can give you the transformation you are hoping for without breaking the bank. While painting your cabinets, we can install new handles/pulls to complete the new look. Based on a study by zillow, you can actually increase your homes value by painting the cabinets.

Cabinet refacing involves replacing the visible parts of cabinets for a new look, while painting simply gives them a fresh coat of color.
